The Biggest Story written by Kevin DeYoung is now available as an animated DVD and a CD. Beginning with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, DeYoung shows how the the well known stories of the Bible show God’s glorious plan to redeem his rebellious people. The Biggest Story shows how all the stories in the Bible are woven together to illustrate God’s love for us and His redemption plan. I received a copy The Biggest Story : The Audio Book and CD to review.
Both the DVD and CD are narrated by the author himself. The films animations are adapted from the book which was illustrated by Don Clark. Both the CD and DVD have run times of 26 minutes, broken into 10 chapters (each chapter is 2-3 minutes long). These short chapters make it easy to use it to teach children the heart of the Bible at home or church.
We have enjoyed listening to the CD and watching the DVD. I like how the timeless stories of the Bible are woven through The Biggest Story and truly show God’s redemption story. The redemption story is one that I want my children to hide in their hearts!
