Koru Naturals ~ Review

Koru Naturals ~ “Bringing the Beauty of New Zealand to the US since 2002”

This is the first time I have been able to try out some of the Koru Naturals line of products.  Can I just say, WOW?!  I received three different products to review, Skin Clear Cream, Manuka Honey Propolis Soap and Argan Oil and Sandalwood Hair Tonic.  Koru Naturals Review

Skin Clear Cream

Skin Clear CreamScott has been using the Skin Clear Cream because it contains Manuka oil, which they don’t recommend for pregnant women, because of its spasmolytic properties.  (Yes, I am telling you I can’t currently use it.)  He has such trouble with extremely dry skin and the natural moisturizers have really been good for his face.

Skin Clear Cream is recommended only for those age 12 or older and is designed specifically for those with acne prone skin but is good even if you don’t have trouble with acne.  As the kids get older, I am going to make sure we have Skin Clear Cream available for them to help avoid trouble with acne.  I am also looking forward to trying it out myself after the newest edition arrives in March.

Manuka Honey Propolis Soap

Manuka Honey Propolis Soap

Scott and I have both been using the Manuka Honey Propolis Soap and I have to say this is one of my favorite soaps ever!  That is not an overstatement!  I love they way the soap has a nice lather and leaves my skin feeling clean while not drying it out or leaving it oily feeling like some soaps do.  After trying the Manuka Honey Propolis soap the first time, Scott told me I had permission to share that he really liked this soap.  I have also been impressed that the bar I received has also lasted for over a  month now with both of us using it daily for showers.

Made up of manuka honey and propolis this soap has a very pleasant smell for both men and women. Both the manuka honey and the propolis are known for their natural moisturizing, skin protecting properties.

Argan Oil and Sandalwood Hair Tonic

Argan Oil and Sandalwood Hair Tonic

The Argan Oil and Sandalwood Hair Tonic is designed to add natural oils to dry, frizzy hair.  The directions say to place 2-3 drops in the palm of your hand, rub hands together then gently massage into your hair.  I have found that for now 1-2 drop seems to do the trick. (My hair is also very thin and fine so if you have thick hair that might make a difference too.)  As the weather gets colder and the humidity level plummets, my hair will have a tendency to become more dry and frizzy so I think that it will probably take 2-3 drops then.  I find the smell of the Argan Oil and Sandalwood Hair Tonic to be pleasant.

I like the way the Sandalwood Hair Tonic can transform my dry, frizzy hair.  I have found that for me it works best when my hair is dry and is especially good after I blow dry my hair.
