Our small country church offers a Trunk or Treat each fall. This year I will have some neat tracts to hand out. These tracts from Let the Little Children Come are shaped like a six sided flower until you fold them up. When folded up they look like a pumpkin. Inside the pumpkin you can put small candies such as Kisses, bubble gum etc.
Let the Little Children come seeks to provide effective child evangelism tools and resources. Their goal is to provide these evangelism tools in a way that doesn’t take away from the gospel. Let the Little Children Come is not affiliated with any church or denomination.
Is There Anything Better Than Candy? Box-Tracts are a neat idea as a way to introduce children to the gospel. The easiest way for me to tell you all about them is to show you.
There are six numbered sides/petals on the tracts.
On the outside of the pumpkin it asks the question, “Is there anything better than candy?” The first flap says, “Yes, there is something much, much better than candy. It’s being God’s friend!”
Flap to tells the child that God loves them very much and that He wants them to spend eternity with him in heaven.
Flap three is based on Romans 3:23 (For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God)
Flap 4 shares the good news that Jesus died for our sins and that because of that our sins can be forgiven.
The fifth flap teaches that in order to enjoy eternity we must admit that we are sinners and ask for forgiveness, believe that Jesus died on the cross to take our punishment and then ask Jesus to come into our lives.
The final flap offers a sinner’s prayer.
These Box-Tracts would make a cute Halloween Tract at a Trunk or Treat or similar event. I am looking forward to handing these out at our Trunk or Treat this year. I plan to fill them candy hugs and kisses.
