Are you or someone you know expecting or recently had a baby? This latest review is of a sweet, rhyming book called Baby, Baby written by Diane Stortz and illustrated by Ailie Busby. This sweet story shows babies doing some of the things babies do so well, wiggling, giggling, crawling, hiding, and napping which captivates babies and small children.
Our littlest is six months old now and he loves to have Baby, Baby read to him. He especially likes the mirror that is on the last page. It is so cute to watch him checking out that baby. The only problem is that we also have to watch that he doesn’t eat the book. We are in that “everything to the mouth stage”.
My favorite part is also the last page, but for a different reason than Isaiah. The story asks the question, “Who does God love?” above the mirror and below it, “God loves ______.” This way the book can be personalized for your baby. It also has this bible verse, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Jeremiah 31:3b NKJV
Blessings,
Jennifer
