Princess Cut Movie ~ Review

Recently, our family movie night included the award winning movie, Princess Cut , from Watchman Pictures. Grace a Carolina farm girl in her early twenties, has always dreamed of marrying “Mr. Right.”After a series of relationship let downs, Grace begins looking at romance through a new lens. She begins to trust her dad to help guide her on a journey to discover what true love really means.

“Dad do you think that there’s just one perfect person out there that we’re supposed to find and marry?”

“That’s a good question, Robert, I think it’s not somuch about finding the perfect person as it is becoming the person God meant you to be.”

With the “help” of her youngest brother, a series of would be suitors begin to show up at the family’s doorstep. Grace decides that her best course of action is to wait on God to show her the right man. Just when it looks like He has done just that, an old girlfriend shows up trying to reclaim “her man.” Will Grace ever have the opportunity to marry and put that Princess Cut diamond on her finger?

Cast & Crew Details from Princess Cut

Ashley Bratcher(Grace Anderson) One of “Top 15 People to Watch in 2015” by Out of the Woodwork. She has also appeared in the Kendrick Brothers’ War Room and 90 Minutes in Heaven starring Kate Bosworth and Hayden Christensen.

Rusty Martin, Sr.(Jim Anderson) after retiring from a career in the United States Navy in 1994 he began acting as a way to spend time with his young son who was acting. Since then he has appeared in several films including: Courageous, Love Covers All, The Carrington Event, The Remaining, A Long Way Off, and War Room.

Jenn Gotzon(Brooke McClaren) The Film Advisory Board’s “Award of Excellence and Outstanding Contribution to the Entertainment World” was given to Jenn Gotzon last year for her performance in “Doonby”.

Joseph Gray(Clint Masters) Some of Joseph’s episodic TV bookings include Guest roles on NBC’s “Revolution”, Lifetime Network’s “Drop Dead Diva” & the CW’s “The Originals”. He also played a supporting role in the National Geographic Channel’s record-breaking TV Movie “Killing Kennedy”. He has recently expanded his resume to also include credits as a Writer & Associate Producer.

Mimi Sagadin(Katherine Anderson) Mimi had an excellent performance opposite John Rhys-Davies in “Return To The Hiding Place.”

Kate MacCallum(Tessa Rigby) Kate is an actress, known for Princess Cut (2015), The Screw (2012) and Hot Mess (2011).

Paul Munger Writer, Producer, Director Paul’s vision is to craft excellent films and assist rising filmmakers to impact culture for the glory of God.

David Cook Line Producer, 1st AD David has been working on multimedia productions for 11 years, starting with radio, then television and photography, and more recently with film. With a desire to produce high quality films that would be God honoring, and help others do the same, he started working with Advent Film Group.
