I like to can all sorts of garden harvest bounty.
My favorite thing to can is jam and salsa! I make lots of it all summer long!
I’ve done a few things but apples are so nice and easy. And when we open up the jar, so tasty!
I agree!
I’ve only ever canned once – I got three jars of blackberry jam done in the summer of 2013. I would love to do more, but it’s mostly a matter of finding a good enough price on the produce to can that’s a problem for me… Excited for the possibility of learning more through the e-book and for some reusable lids ๐
One great place to check is your local grocery store and ask if they have “case” specials. Sometimes they will give you a great deal on a case.
I love making homemade strawberry jam and canning it.
So do I!
The only thing I’ve canned so far is cranberry sauce and apples. I’d love to learn more!
Yum, I’ve never canned cranberry sauce, apples are some of my favorite!
You would be my canning guide if I won these! ๐
Well hopefully I can be “your guide” even though you didn’t win. ๐
I can a lot of apple butter.
