Have you incorporated audio books into your homeschool or family yet? If not, you are missing out, no I mean you really are!! Our family LOVES to listen Heirloom Audio Productions audio theaters. They are a great way to pass the time if you are traveling or simply listen to them at home. The most recent G.A. Henty book we’ve listened to is Captain Bayley’s Heir.
I was able to get some turnip seed spread on a couple of the lots this week. I had intended to do it a month ago but it had been so dry I didn’t figure it would grow anyway. It will be interesting to see if they grow enough to be beneficial. I am hopeful that with the moisture we have received lately and the above normal temperatures that they will germinate quickly.

I am so excited, we got RAIN! We have been very dry and we finally got some much needed moisture. The timing couldn’t be any better either, Scott was able to get done drilling the grass seed on 20 acres just a few hours before the rain hit. I sure hope this means we will get a nice stand on this new seeding!
